its true you can learn, when i was young i couldnt pick up girls so i married the first one to go out with me, what a mistake, but by my late 20s i had women asking me out, i couldnt work it out but went along for the enjoyable journey, then i became single again in my 40s and same thing, i think its just your attitude to women changes and you can relate with them easier, i guess its called maturity, but what ever it is, i think its mainly being able to communicate with them on their own level
I used to wonder the same thing until I came across Mystery. After months of reading and watching his work I have come to a conclusion. People who think that it doesn’t work have no clue what the thing is about.
What I find beautiful about his achievement in the area of “pickup” is the simplicity of his discoveries. I find it fascinating that most people think its bull. I don’t blame them because it doesn’t make sense until you let go of the beliefs that you currently hold as “true”, which will make you continue to do the same things you have done in the past, and will yield the same result you have gotten in the past – no girls. After you understand the basic principles you will feel like Neo out of the Matrix.
These things are what people don’t know about pickup. They are the basis of The Game
1) Women have an internal emotional system calibrated to judge the survival and replication value of a man. If he has high survival and replication value they feel attracted. They have no choice. Attraction is not a choice, not for you, and not for women.
2) Everything you do will make you more or less valuable. Everything you do is a demonstration of high value or a demonstration of low value. If you demonstrate high value women can’t help but feel attracted.
3) You can learn the things that women find valuable in a man and with practice incorporate this demonstrations in your personality.
4) Everything in the game is commitment and training to become this high value person that women can’t help but feel attracted to. All the canned lines that people criticize so much are just things that a high value male would say. Saying them conveys the personality of a high value male. As you get better you can swap them for your own things that convey the same personality traits, but at the beginning they are useful a student has no idea of what personality he wants to portray.
From the beginning of you meeting a girl to the time you start a relationship there is a clock ticking. During this time, you either do the right things or you screw up. How about learning what these right things are and not leaving anything to luck. As Mystery said: “This is not a night at the improv folks.”
