I’m 15 years old and sometimes I feel like I haven’t really grown up. I don’t know why, but I love little kid stuff. I still really like to play with baby toys and I love playing barbies and playing with my beanie babies. I also love reading children’s books (8-12 year old books usually) so usually I’m in the children’s section in the library. I also love playing with my tamagotchi. I loveee babies and children. I dunno why I just find them to be so fun. Usually when I’m at a party with my family, I hang out with my cousins who are 5 years old+ rather than my 20 year old cousins. I’m not doing it to be friendly with the kids, I just find them to be so entertaining and fun. I also love writing stories for children. My seven year old cousin and I made up our own fantasy world and it was lots of fun. I always thought this kind of stuff was normal but yesterday someone was shocked that I still play with my tamagotchis and my barbies so now I’m starting to think that I’m a big fat weirdo. I do have friends, but none of them like children’s stuff. I don’t know why I feel so much more comfortable with children and baby stuff, but it makes me happy. however I feel like an 11 year old. I just want to know if this kind of stuff is normal because if it is absolutely weird then i’ll snap out of it. also, why on earth am I like this?!

Chances are that part of you will always be attached to those things. I think that’s why adults like having kids so much….they get to play with those toys all over again. I know when I have kids, I’m looking forward to filling a toy chest full of Legos. ^_^ Anyway, I’m sure there will come a time when you start to lose interest in some of those things as they’re replaced with others…probably around the same time you get your driver’s license.
