City Park pool hosts pooches as part of fundraiser
Organizers from the Johnson County Dog Park Action Committee were expecting as many as 200 dogs and their owners to take part in the event. At $10 a dog, the group was hoping to raise about $2,000 for upgrades and maintenance at Thornberry and Rita’s Ranch off-leash dog parks.
