I read the description of this ball and I had to order it. When I got it, I wasn’t sure why I had gotten at all. The sensory part of the ball is really annoying to me, it’s all spiky and hard, I don’t know how they have the picture of a baby in it, I wouldn’t give this to a baby ever. My toddler of 17mons old, doesn’t play with it much even though he loves balls, I don’t think he likes the texture either. So all I got was an overpriced spiky ball that is right now sitting on a corner of his room.

My baby, 7 months old when I got this, likes to dive onto the ball. I have put it away for when he gets older. The little nubs are really pointy and I’m afraid he would hurt his eyes or face in some way. He really does like the ball though and often reaches for it when he sees it on the shelf. I think maybe in one more month when he is not using a ball for target practice or a pillow this will be great. It is very light too.

This ball has great texture that my daughter loves to play with it. The bumps are a little sharp and could hurt someone if it was thrown at them. By with careful monitoring this is a great toy.
