It’s really more of a BBQ to get together with friends, my boyfriend says that we need to just bring beer but I think you should always bring something for the hosts. And what about the baby?
Should we bring some kind of food dish? Wine? Dessert? Books or toys for the baby??? What would a 1 year old like? I don’t have kids.

Beer is good, take a small tree so the parents can plant it for the baby, that way its covered Baby and hosts
well its always a great idea to bring dessert because then the kids could enjoy it too and as for the baby maybe some clothes or shoes or some cute pj’s
You should take a toy for the baby. And maybe a dessert. But definitely a toy for the baby.
I have 3 kids so I can tell you from experience that the baby will probably have more fun with the wrapping paper than with the gift itself. Stuffed animals or a cute outfit are always crowd pleasers. I would say that it would probably be appreciated if you brought a platter of cheese and crackers or an assortment of fruit. Hope I’ve helped.
i think the easiest thing to bring is just a small cake that’s fairly cheap and buy toys for the baby because it’s only 1 it can’t read
