I love my niece, she’s the first baby since me and her big first birthday is coming up. I already know she’s going to get all the baby toys you can find in the department store from other relatives. So what do I get her that’s unique?
My boyfriend made a suggestion, that was a white gold necklace with her birthstone. The price was fairly reasonable. Only $95.00. He made the comment that its something she can’t grow out of.

get her a toy or a teddy or some clothes
many baby’s that age like something very musical or something that they can bite
how about getting a cast of the babies shoes in bronze or silver.. price is usually reasonable and its something that will most likely stay in the family for many many years. I still have my frist pair of shoes which my grandmother had cast in bronze… i am 27yrs old and still have them even with my grandmother gone they serve not only as a wonderful memory but as a reminder of the ones who loved me growing up.
As a new mother, I must encourage reading–so some good books. If her parents have started a savings account for her, you could contribute something for her future and maybe half for now?
