My Tissue Art lets kids have fun while developing their fine motor skills. Crunching up the little tissue paper squares helps build the small intrinsic muscles of the hands, an important foundation for writing skills, doing buttons, and other developmental hand skills.

I gave this to my 5 year old granddaughter & she loved it. The kit is designed such that she can create a beautiful picture independently, with little guidance from me other than to get started.

My 2 12 year old son received this for Christmas.

I love the simplicity of this set for parents to do with young children.

The base for each object is a sturdy tagboard typ maretial. Each section has it own seperate peel off area so you can have the child concentrate on one area easily.

This also makes it easy to stop at the moment a kids is done or gets distracted without really messing up the whole kit.

It was very smart to have the kids ball up the little pieces of tissue paper and then press down. They can make such great art projects then, basically by themself with only a bit of parent guidence.

The tissues are great vibrant colors and the perfect size for little hands!

This is a clever toy for toddlers and preschoolers. It involves fine motor coordination (i.e., peeling off the cut outs, crumping up the tissue, sticking the little tissue balls on the adhesive cut-outs) and creativity. It’s the type of art that is structured (the cut outs are already made) yet gives them freedom to choose color and pattern. The end product tends to be beautiful. I got one for my daughter and have already given a few as gifts. It does require some grown up support, though, otherwise impulsive little hands will just peel off all the cut-outs and tear out the tissue pads.

I did the bird with my 5 years old son. it took us a very long time to do it.It gave us time to talk and to share “quality time”…..the outcome is very nice. the only problem is with the glue .
