Komtar to be transformed into major icon
GEORGE TOWN (Aug 17, 2010): There are plans to transform the 65-storey Komtar tower, completed in 1985, through a major facelift that includes adding an outdoor bubble lift and creating an open-air viewing deck on its rooftop.
