Me and my friend couldn’t come to an agreement on this one. When it comes to paying child support she believes that an older child needs more money than a younger child (baby), but I feel the opposite. When considering NEEDS (and not wants like a car and t.v’s), which is more expensive and needs more child support?
Babies need formula (if not breastfeeding), clothes all the time with them growning and pooping, diapers, child care, bottles, toys, cleaning supplies (lotions, shampoos, etc.), and of course bibs, car seats, strollers, and a crib/bed.
Teenagers can get a job, need food, need school clothes, need shoes, school is USUALLY free, and they need lunch money.
When a person goes to college, they are no longer a CHILD and isn’t being RAISED. Of course college is expensive… I’m not including that cost because that is a given (if your child decides to go to college)

Teenagers, of course. Nowadays, they want you to buy all these expensive brand clothing and makeup.
I think teenagers are more expensive to raise. Babies don’t know if they don’t have luxuries, they are fine with necessities. Sure teenagers can work to support themselves but their parents are supposed to.
A baby.
They are the same if you raise them from birth.. but all in all it takes roughly $250,000 to go from 0 to 18 and even more if you have the money to dispose of..
I would say babies. but it you add college funds to teenagers than it eould be them. Did you know that it costs over 1 million dollars to raise a kid until they are 18? So I would stick with babies as my final answer! lol God Bless!
Hahaha yeah right, school is not free, try paying 2k per term!
I believe both of you are right. i have both baby’s, teenagers, college kids. and i try to answer your question. and both of you are right. and these days even more.
