He had been playing with his older brother’s blocks ( a wooden block puzzle set) but that one has missing pieces, missing lid, etc and it is time to update. This particular set, by Fisher Price, is a mover and shaker on Amazon, climbing up the rankings hourly. When I checked it out I can see why — the colors are bright, the bucket has a handle so baby can carry it around (which our son loves to do with his LeapFrog My Discovery House, another excellent toy for toddlers that I plan to write a post about!)
This block set has over 500 ratings from parents averaging 4 out of 5 stars!
Here are some of the great features that make this an excellent educational toy for toddlers:
- Three colorful shapes fit through openings in the shape-sorting lid
- Helps baby learn about identifying and matching shapes
- Set includes bucket with lid and 12 blocks
