I hate to select toys for our little boy, but I do not have to. My wife selects most and he gets an amazing number of gifts from well-meaning friends and relatives. One of the recent gifts is this Chicco remote-controlled robot. He enjoys seeing it wobble around and hearing it emit laughing and giggling sounds, electronic noises sounding like a defective R2D2 and flashing brightly-colored lights. It works somewhat like robot vacuum cleaners gong backward and forward in irregular patterns. He does not know how to operate it as yet so we operate if for him. It is a fun thing to diddle around with. The boy seems somewhat in awe and the cats run for cover. One of these days he will get onto how the remote control works and then his interest should pick up markedly. In any case, it is a rather weird toy. I would never choose it, but it was a gift and the boy seems to enjoy it.

Our seven month old granddaughter just loves this! It moves all around and makes lots of funny noises – – she’ll play with it for a much longer time than other toys. Highly recommend for all babies just starting to sit up and play.

I keep this toy at my house for my one-year-old grandson to play with. It has a simple remote control that he pushes and little Chicco moves, giggles, and makes other musical noises. It only moves a very short distance with each push of the remote and you can’t control the direction; therefore, it isn’t like a remote controlled toy for an older child. You can’t guide it here or there, but it is perfect for a toddler because it doesn’t get stuck in a corner, unable to move. The little wheels work best on hard surfaces. Chicco and the remote have been dropped but keep on working. My grandson loves to play with it when he comes over.

I gave this to my 6 month old godson for Christmas and he just loves this thing. I was amazed when just a couple of months later I saw him using the remote control. He’s learned a lot about cause and effect from this thing and even though he doesn’t chase it so much as watch it roam around it’s still one of his favorite toys. Still going strong six months later.

This thing is tiny… and doesnt move very far. Mostly it just spins in circles and wobbles. Its ok for $20 but dont expect much, my son lost intrest in 5 min.
